Silver Roots Wellness is a small, independent publisher of large-print wellness guides for older adults. We make one thing and we try to make it very well: clear, gentle, follow-along routines that fit into ordinary days at home.

We started with a simple observation. Most fitness advice for older adults arrives in the wrong container — an app with tiny buttons, a video that moves too fast, a plan written for someone thirty years younger. The advice itself is often fine. The delivery is what fails people.

So our guides are built the other way around:

  • Paper-first. Every guide is designed to be printed and followed from a page — no logins, no screens, no subscriptions.
  • Large print, plain language. One step per line. No jargon.
  • Gentle by default. Every routine starts seated or supported, and every page carries its own safety cues.
  • Grounded in public guidance. Our routines follow the CDC and NHS physical-activity guidelines for older adults, and every guide cites its sources.

We are not doctors, and our guides never pretend to be medicine — they are educational materials, and they say so plainly. What we promise is care in the craft: readable pages, honest claims, and real human support if anything about your download ever needs fixing.
